Last home Stan Lee bought was for his daughter. It’s for sale. See surprises inside
In the comic book universe — especially the one that begins with the letter “M” — writer Stan Lee was a god among geeks. Known for shooting up the ladder as the primary creative leader of Marvel Comics, Lee produced, wrote and basically ruled over iconic characters like Spider-Man, Black Panther, Iron Man and many more.
And the last house the comic book genius purchased has landed on the real estate market in Los Angeles, California. Bought for “his greatest fan,” JC Lee — his daughter with wife Joan — the home is stocked with colorful surprises revolving around the worlds Lee helped create, a news release says.
It’s listed for $8.8 million.
“Nestled in the prestigious Bird Streets, this expansive single-story estate encompasses over 5,200 square feet on a sprawling half-acre lot,” the listing on Douglas Elliman describes.
“Upon entering, you’re greeted by a striking foyer that flows into a cozy den featuring a built-in bar and fireplace, an elegant formal living room, and a spacious dining area ideal for hosting large gatherings.”
Other features of the three-bedroom, seven-bathroom residence includes:
Movie theater (cause, well, duh)
Private sauna in primary suite
Chef’s kitchen
Swimming pool
Deck
Cabana
And since it is a Lee family household, there are life-sized Spider “Men” there to greet you … while simultaneously recreating a timeless meme.
The listing is held by Naomi Selick.
