A “sweet” puppy didn’t look the way a breeder wanted — and now, she needs a new home.

“Georgie, who is jaw-droppingly adorable, was a breeder surrender who found her markings to be unacceptable,” the Boston Terrier Rescue of North Carolina wrote March 2 in a Facebook post. “Unacceptable, you say? We say phooey! There is no unacceptable Boston in our book.”

The 6-month-old pup is up for adoption after she landed at the rescue in early March. She has become known for being “affectionate” and snuggly, according to an online adoption profile.

“Georgie is not your typical high-octane Boston,” the rescue wrote. “She’s playful but not over the top. This girl doesn’t even like walks very much (though she’ll go if you want her to). She loves all people.”

The 10-pound pup’s veterinary visits are her “social hour,” since she greets everyone there. She will need a new owner who can work with her on housebreaking and basic commands.

“She loves to cuddle and snuggle any available human body, and she will spoon you in bed at night,” the rescue wrote. “She enjoys other dogs and all kinds of toys.”

As of March 4, the rescue’s website listed Georgie among the animals waiting for new homes. Details about the organization’s adoption process can be found at btrnc.org.

The Boston Terrier Rescue of North Carolina didn’t immediately share additional information with McClatchy News on March 4. The organization is based in Greensboro and has a presence in five states, according to its website.
