Maryville woman sworn in to fill late husband’s seat on Madison County Board

Heather Mueller-Jones has been appointed to the Madison County Board to replace her late husband, Clint Jones, who died suddenly two weeks ago.

Mueller-Jones was recommended to fill the position by County Board Chairman Kurt Prenzler. Mueller-Jones will fill out the remainder of her late husband’s term, which will expire in 2022.

Clint Jones, 44, who represented District 27, died unexpectedly Friday, July 3.

Jones, a Republican, had served on the board since 2016 and was chairman of the facilities and sewers committees.
