Democratic Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton is scheduled to appear in St. Louis on Saturday at a carpenters’ training center.

Former Secretary of State Clinton, who is vying for the Democrat nomination against Sen. Bernie Sanders, comes to the area ahead of Tuesday’s primaries in Illinois and Missouri. Her husband, former president Bill Clinton, was in St. Louis earlier this week.

An advisory from the Clinton campaign said she will “discuss her plans to break down the barriers that hold too many families back and create a ‘new bargain’ to generate more, good-paying jobs in America.”

Doors are scheduled to open at 9 a.m. at the St. Louis Carpenters Joint Apprenticeship Program at the Nelson-Mulligan Carpenters’ Training Center, 8300 Valcour Ave. in south St. Louis.

She is scheduled to speak at 11 a.m.
