Why are you running and why should people vote for you? I think Southern Illinois has to have a strong voice to stand up for and protect our values. I think I am able to do that. I have had to work and do whatever was needed to support my family and thus can relate to the struggles people of my district face. I have been a factory worker, did other odd jobs, and for the last 30 years have owned and operated my farm. I know how to budget and plan as well adapt when plans go astray.
What would your goals be, if elected? To see that the people of my district are treated fairly and do my best to make sure our tax money actually positively helps our citizens. Be vigilant in protecting our second amendment rights and an advocate for more pro-life policies.
What issues are most pressing for your constituency? To try and combat Springfield’s incessant anti-business tax policies that drive people from our state and then increase the burden on those left to make up for it.
