Bost declares victory in U.S. House 12 District of southern Illinois

The Associated Press has declared incumbent Mike Bost (R) the winner over challenger Brian Roberts (D) to retain his seat for Illinois’ 12th Congressional District in the Nov. 5, 2024 election. All results are unofficial until certified by the county clerk. Polls closed at 7 p.m. and many votes have been counted, though mail-in ballots will still be tallied.
