St. Clair County Clerk to hold lottery for candidates who filed simultaneously

The St. Clair County Clerk’s Office has scheduled lotteries for people who filed simultaneously to determine placement on the March primary ballot.

The lotteries are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, in the county clerk’s office at 10 Public Square on the second floor in Belleville.

Candidates involved in the lottery are:

▪  Current County Board Member Joan McIntosh and Harry Hollingsworth, who are running in the Democratic primary for District 2;

▪  Current County Board Member Larry W. Stammer Jr. and Scott Tieman, who are running in the Democratic primary for District 26;

▪  Mary McKinney and Vernon E. Scott, who are running for Canteen Township Precinct 4 Democratic committeemen;

▪  Sherman Nicholson and Ferris E. Williams, who are running for Canteen Township Precinct 5 Democratic committeemen; and

▪  Rickie Thomas and Carlene Tucker, who are running for Canteen Township Precinct 6 Democratic committeemen.
