Why are you running? It’s time to turn the page. After the 24 years my opponent has been in office, it’s time for a different voice to represent the city of Alton to have community meetings quarterly to get the people involved what is going on with their city and local government. I also like to help with the VA, the homeless people and the mentally ill. I won’t be just talking about my business. I’m doing my business.

What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it? My top issue is how can I make Madison County better and how can I help Alton become better? I’m a representative of Madison County but I’ll also be a representative of Alton.

Why should people vote for you? You want a problem solver? You want a community oriented person? You want a people person? You want someone who’s going to have quarterly meetings to keep you informed of what’s going on? I will not be a regular politician who shows up only during election time. I’ll be out there all the time informing the public what is going on. You want someone who can think outside the box and help the VA, the homeless and mentally ill in the Madison County area. These areas have been far too long ignored. Also, if elected, I would like to help set up a scholarship for some young kids in Madison County to help their further with their education.
