Please list highlights of your civic involvement: My civic involvement includes being an Eagle Scout, Order of the Arrow, and a youth soccer coach.
Who are your top three campaign contributors? My top three campaign contributors are Dwight Kay, Kurt Prenzler and myself.
Why are you running? I was the chief deputy treasurer for Kurt Prenzler and I will reduce the treasurer’s admin budget 20% in 20 days. I will end costly perks like a personal secretary. I will not hire relatives of elected officials and I will stop the use of the treasurer’s office for attacking political adversaries.
What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it? The treasurer’s admin budget increased 22% in just over a year and to levels not seen since Fred Bathon was treasurer. I will reduce the treasurer’s budget 20% in 20 days.
Why should people vote for you? I am the only qualified candidate for treasurer by experience and education. My opponent does not have a degree in accounting, business or finance and his education was as a policeman. His deputy treasurer only has a high school education and the treasurer is responsible for over $500 million in taxpayer funds. We need a financial professional for treasurer — not a politician.
