Please list highlights of your civic involvement: My civic involvement includes FEMA volunteer management of donations and Emotional Spiritual Care for Emergency Disaster Services and Safe From Harm trainer for children and vulnerable adults. I also serve on Save our Sons and Daughters committee and the Salvation Army Advisory Council.
Who are your top three campaign contributors? My campaign contributors are donations from family and friends.
Why are you running? I want to be the connector that links the Madison, Venice and a portion of Granite City together by becoming more involved in the decision making process which addresses the needs of our families, communities and underserved youth! I will strengthen the communication between the county government and the districts by working together to help improve our communities.
What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it? My top issue in the race is a lack of communication between the county board and leaders of the community. The needs of the communities must be shared by local leaders. Information regarding funding for grants and various resources should be shared by the Madison County Board member governing that area. I plan to do both in order to implement the best plan and practice for our communities to thrive and grow.
Why should people vote for you? I have over 15 years of experience in policy and procedures. I write guidelines for the protection of children, the elderly and vulnerable adults fighting addictions. I adhere to federal, state and local laws for the protection of people. I strive daily to attract what you expect, be a reflection of what I desire, become what I respect and mirror what I admire!
