St. Clair County, Madison County offering free COVID-19 services
The St. Clair County Health Department, in cooperation with the Illinois Department of Public Health, will be holding free COVID-19 testing throughout St. Clair County the week of July 27 through Aug. 2. Testing will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
Any adults and children over 6 months of age can be tested at any of the available locations. Each patient will be notified by phone of their results, which may take up to a week to receive.
- Monday, July 27: Millstadt Liederkranz Park, West Parkview Drive, Millstadt
- Tuesday, July 28: Caseyville Village Park, 21 W. Reynolds, Caseyville
- Wednesday, July 29: Scheve Park, Harnett Street and Harper Road, Mascoutah
- Thursday, July 30: New Athens Okaw Valley Park, North Albert A. Wilson Memorial Drive, New Athens
- Friday, July 31: Prescriptions Plus True Value parking lot, 753 True Value Drive, Lebanon
- Saturday, Aug. 1, and Sunday, Aug. 2: Belleville East High School lower lot, 2555 West Blvd., Belleville
These events are open to the public. Individuals with or without symptoms may be tested. No appointments are needed. Masks are required. For information about these testing options, call 618-825-4420.
Drive-thru mask distribution event
Madison County TRIAD will be hosting a drive-thru mask distribution event 8-10 a.m. Saturday, July 25. The event will take place in front of Senior Services Plus, Inc., in Alton.
The masks will be distributed while supplies last and are limited to one per person. This event is drive-thru only. Participants are asked to please remain in their cars.
