Who won the snowball fight? Watch 6-year-old boy take on Illinois cop ending a shift

This police officer in Illinois found just a bit more energy at the end of a busy, snowy shift to take on a 6-year-old boy.

In a snowball fight, that is.

Waterloo, Illinois cop Shaun Wiegand stopped at a home Monday for a fun snowball fight caught on video.

Nichole Murphy captured the video of her nephew and Wiegand throwing snowballs in a front yard as they trudged through the heavy snow that blanketed much of the Midwest over the weekend.

“I love our small town,” Murphy wrote on Facebook. “Waterloo police department for the win!!! He loved this.”

In the comments to the video, Wiegand replied that he enjoyed it, too.

“After a busy day it was nice to have a little fun. I hope he enjoyed the snowball ‘fight’ as much as I did. Thanks for sharing,” Wiegand wrote, according to Storyful.
