Chicago Cubs president looks to sell ‘airy’ Illinois digs for $3.6M. Take a look
Jed Hoyer, president of baseball operations for the Chicago Cubs, is looking to unload his very posh 6-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom home in the Ravenswood area (known for its breweries) for $3.65 million.
But fear not, Cubs fans — Hoyer isn’t abandoning his post, he’s just relocating within the same area, NBC Sports says.
The home, a custom-built property he purchased in 2019 for $3 million, sits on a pretty sizable lot and has “incredible features,” Realtor.com says.
Paired with a mix of sophisticated alabaster, taupe and gray-blue walls throughout, splashes of deeper colors on the furniture make the interior pop in a creative, yet chic way.
Features spread throughout the 7,500-square-foot home include:
“Airy” floorplan
Oversized windows
High ceilings
Redesigned primary suite
Craft room with bar area
Recreation room
Theater with golf simulator
Oversized sports court in the backyard
The 48-year-old was the former general manager for the Cubs from 2011 to 2020, when he was made president, the Chicago Tribune said. With Hoyer, Chicago went to the postseason for four straight years and won a World Series in 2016. Before the Cubs, Hoyer was the GM for the San Diego Padres.
