Illinois Department of Public Health

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an approved nursing education program resulting in an associate or a diploma degree in nursing and three years of professional nursing experience; a bachelor’s degree in nursing and two years of professional nursing experience; or a master’s degree in nursing.

  • Requires licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Illinois.

Responsibilities: Travel to conduct surveys of home health agencies; hospices, health maintenance organization; rehabilitation, speech physical therapy and free-standing x-ray services and other related services to determine level of compliance with state licensure requirements and federal Medicare/Medicaid certification standards.

Pay: $5,927 to $8,059 per month
