Lucky lottery player wins big in new Illinois Super Jackpot game

Some lucky lottery player hit the jackpot Saturday in a new game, the Illinois Lottery agency announced.

An online player won $885,449 in the Illinois Super Jackpot game, the agency stated in a release.

“Illinois Super Jackpot is a $20 progressive Fast Play game,” the release states. “The jackpot begins at $50,000 and grows with each ticket sold statewide until the jackpot is won.”

Illinois Super Jackpot is known as a Fast Play game. You can buy a ticket fo any of the 20 Fast Play games at a retail store, online via IllinoisLottery.com or on the Illinois Lottery app.

The lottery agency did not say whether a winner has claimed the prize.
