Light snow fell across the metro-east and St. Louis region for the second time in a week on Friday.

Here’s a look at town by town snowfall totals from Friday, according to National Weather Service reports:

  • Chester, IL - 6.3 inches (4:22 p.m. Friday)
  • Belleville, IL - 4.5 inches (3:46 p.m. Friday)
  • Steeleville, IL - 4.5 inches (10:06 a.m. Saturday)
  • Prairie Du Rocher, IL - 4.5 inches (1:14 p.m. Friday)
  • Centralia, IL - 3.8 inches (1:15 p.m. Friday)
  • Brentwood, MO - 3.5 inches (5 p.m. Friday)
  • Fenton, MO - 3.5 inches (6 p.m. Friday)
  • New Baden, IL - 3 inches (11:42 p.m. Friday)
  • Pontoon Beach, IL - 3 inches (1:53 p.m. Friday)
  • Shiloh, IL - 2.9 inches (4:46 p.m. Friday)
  • Swansea, IL - 2.8 inches (12:49 p.m. Friday)
  • Crestwood, MO - 2.8 inches (2:14 p.m. Friday)
  • Nashville, IL - 2.5 inches (12:08 p.m. Friday)

The St. Louis office of the National Weather Service said the region can expect to see some of that widespread snow melt on Saturday as temperatures reach near and above freezing.
