How much snow coated the metro-east? Here’s a town-by-town look

Snowfall amounts ranged from 6 to 11 inches in southwestern Illinois after snow began falling on Saturday morning and ended Sunday afternoon.
Reported snowfall totals matched forecasts, with higher amounts occurring in the southern portion of the region.
The National Weather Service receives snowfall reports from residents across the area. The following totals were reported as of Monday:
Belleville: 8.6 inches off North 17th Street
Chester: 11 near Illinois 150
Collinsville: 8.5 off South Morrison Avenue
Edwardsville: 8.5 off Esic Drive
Ellis Grove: 9.8 near Illinois 3
Freeburg: 8.2 near North State Street
Granite City: 8.3 near Nameoki Road
Hardin: 6.3 near Illinois 100
O’Fallon: 9 near South Lincoln Avenue
