Answer: State Farm says it doled out $457 million to Illinois homeowners just last year to repair their hail-damaged roofs. And that only puts Illinois as the third most hail damaged state covered by State Farm. Texas? No. 1 in hail damage claims at an amazing price tag of 1.4 billion (that's a B).
