Welcome Christmas in your heart, accept the gift

MCT

Christmas is doing a little something extra for someone.” — Charles M. Schulz

It is Christmas morning, the most anticipated day of the year.

Will today be as special as last Christmas Day? Better than two years ago? Will it match up to your very best Christmas ever? Much of that is completely up to you. Really. It is.

It’s a special day, but the bliss you may find today does not guarantee that all will be calm and all will be bright.

Bask in this Christmas Day. Live the Grinch’s realization that Christmas doesn’t come from a store, but means a little bit more. Follow Mr. Dickens’ advice and honor Christmas in your heart and try to keep it all the year. Apply that goodwill to those closest to you, then widen the circle of family and friends as you celebrate your faith.

Join those heavenly hosts that sing Hallelujah, and celebrate that Christ the Savior was born to redeem us all.

Now that embodiment of eternal hope and promise of peace was clearly the greatest gift of all, and the most precious example of doing something extra for everyone.

Merry Christmas.
