I am delighted to see the Belle Valley School has a new superintendent. Hopefully Belle Valley can start a new and productive era. There are several major changes that must be addressed in order to accomplish this goal. First and foremost, Belle Valley school board president Karen Kunz must go. Over the past seven years I have written letters to the editor exposing her deplorable and unprofessional behavior. Needless to say, I have absolutely no confidence in anything she says or does.
The conduct of a school board president can have a profound affect upon a school district. Therefore it is essential that a school board president is honest, open, knowledgeable, competent and motivated. Kunz appears to be woefully lacking in these traits.
