Support Belleville Sister Cities and our community at this year’s Christkindlmarkt

Well, winter is right around the corner with snow, ice and cold temperatures. But there’s nothing we can do about it; it’ll be here!

But we can do something about the upcoming Christkindlmarkt.

As you know, the Belleville Sister Cities will have their chalet up again for the entire time. As always, we need help. It’s a great feeling when you see people with smiles on their faces when they have a cup or one of our new mugs filled with hot delicious Glühwein (mulled wine) and taste our pretzels or fresh roasted nuts. Then take a stroll through the beautiful decorated Christmas display with many vendors.

Many items they sell are actually from Germany. So please support all of us.

Winter can get quite boring with not much to do, so please consider helping us out and brighten your days before the holidays. It’ll put you in the Christmas mood. The past couple of years the weather has been very good to us with mild temperatures and no snow during the event.

So let’s hope this year will again draw a big crowd.

We will be open Friday, Nov. 25 thru Friday, Dec. 23.

Hours for the event are 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Then the week of Dec. 19, we will be open every day from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 23.

If you decide to work, you’ll enjoy a completely remodeled chalet.
