Grizzlies announce 2015 promotions

The Gateway Grizzlies have announced their promotional schedule for the 2015 season at GCS Ballpark.

The promotional schedule includes seven fireworks nights including two "fireworks frenzy" shows, five "super show" dates, giveaway nights, concerts, and much more.

The preseason kicks off on Wednesday, May 6 with a Safety Kit Flash Light giveaway sponsored by Ameren Illinois. The Grizzlies will also host 4H & FFA Night on May 9 and Breast Cancer Awareness Night on May 10, which concludes Gateway's pre-season schedule.

GCS Ballpark opens up the 2015 regular season with Pete Rose Night on Friday, May 15. Opening night will also serve as the Grizzlies' first "super show" date of the season. The excitement of opening weekend continues with a Scroll Pen giveaway presented by Quantum Vision Centers on May 16 and Kids Run the Bases sponsored by Old Spaghetti Factory on Sunday, May 17. Kids will have the chance to run the bases after the game during every Sunday date at GCS Ballpark.

The Grizzlies come back home for a six-game homestand beginning on May 25, when Gateway hosts "Salute to the Fallen" on Memorial Day. All veterans will receive free admission to the game. The homestand concludes with American Heart Association Day on Sunday, May 31.

June 5-7 features the Grizzlies' "Balloon Madness Game" and Izzy's birthday party. The month also includes Splash Bash on June 17, Princess Night/Daddy-Daughter Date Night on June 19, and a Father's Day special on June 21.

"Bark in the Ballpark" takes place on Friday, June 26, with Crazy Game Show Night on June 27. GCS Ballpark will see two exciting fireworks shows during "Salute to America" weekend on July 3 and 4.

From July 28 to August 2, the Grizzlies will host Ladies Night with a diamond hunt on July 30, a baseball cards giveaway on August 1, and Star Wars Night on August 2. On August 27, fans will receive a Stan Musial bobblehead as part of U.S. Bank Bobblehead Night.

The season's finale will be one to remember, as GCS Ballpark hosts the annual "Greatest Night in Baseball" sponsored by Dutch Hollow. Fans will have the chance to throw rolls of toilet paper all over the ballpark, while enjoying a "fireworks frenzy" show following the game on September 6.

Single-game, group, and season tickets are now on sale for all 54 regular-season games and three pre-season games in Sauget.
