Top performers in high school sports for Dec. 10
BOYS BASKETBALL
Shaun Riley II, O’Fallon
Riley tied his season high with 13 points in the Panthers’ 50-45 win over Centralia on Saturday. The sophomore for O’Fallon also recorded six rebounds and one steal in the game.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Caite Knutson, Collinsville
In the Kahoks’ 54-46 win over Triad on Saturday, Knutson led the way scoring 17 points, grabbing three rebounds and adding three steals.
Shaniah Nunn, Belleville West
Nunn scored a season high 23 points in the Maroons’ 52-44 weekend win over Althoff.
Anna Hall, Civic Memorial
Hall was the only Lady Eagle to score in double digits with 20 points as Civic Memorial topped Collinsville 51-42 on Monday night. Hall, a junior, also had six rebounds and two steals.
Colleen Cockrell, Freeburg
Cockrell’s team high 12 points helped propel Freeburg past Lebanon 43-39.
Mackenzie Hancock, Wesclin
Wesclin inched past Father McGivney 48-45 with the help of Mckenzie Hancock’s 15 points and seven rebounds.
