Summer Nationals Hell Tour coming to Belle-Clair Speedway

The United Midwest Promoters Dirt Car Summer Nationals Hell Tour will be at Belle-Clair Speedway on Wednesday night.

In addition to the UMP Dirt car late models, the UMP modifieds also will be racing.

The tour pits drivers against each other on a schedule of 28 events over 32 days, with 5,500 miles total travel time in between with a total purse of nearly $800,000.

Belle-Clair’s fifth-mile track is the 13th stop on the circuit.

Previous winners of the Summer Nationals appearance at Belle-Clair include Bobby Pierce (2014), Brandon Sheppard (2013), Jason Feger (2012), Ryan Unzicker (2011), Dennis Erb, Jr. (2010, 2009), and Will Vaught (2008).

Spectator gates open at 4 p.m. General admission is $25 and children under 12 are free with an adult. Pit passes are $35. Pit gates open at 1 p.m.

Hot laps begin at 6 p.m. with racing to follow.
