3 Frontrunners for the Miami Dolphins at No. 11 in the NFL Draft

A little over two months since the Seattle Seahawks downed the New England Patriots to win the Super Bowl, the new season of the NFL is officially ready to kick off in full on Thursday night in Pittsburgh for the 2026 NFL Draft.

While the world’s worst-kept secret is that the Las Vegas Raiders will be selecting Heisman Trophy winner and national champion quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the first overall pick, the fun begins after the Indiana signal-caller puts on the silver and black for the first time.

As we count down the clock to Thursday, per Kalshi, the prediction website, here are the players in the running for the Miami Dolphins to take with their No. 11 choice.

More news: Could the New York Giants Take a Wide Receiver at No. 5 in NFL Draft?

Francis Mauigoa (19%)

Mauigoa was (and could still possibly be) seen as a top-five pick in the NFL Draft only a few weeks ago, but news that he might need surgery in the near future due to back issues has seen him drop down the board.

For the Dolphins, who are in full rebuild mode and are grabbing pieces for the future, they are in a position where they might trade off a lost year in the upcoming campaign to have a force on the O-line for the next decade.

Kadyn Proctor (15%)

O-line, O-line, O-line for the Dolphins, and if Mauigoa isn’t there, then the big man from the Alabama Crimson Tide could fit that role beautifully.

Proctor has quietly risen up a lot of mock draft boards in the final week or two before the draft, and his going No. 11 to the Dolphins wouldn’t be a shocker.

Mansoor Delane (11%)

The Dolphins need help in the secondary, and if Delane is still on the board when they pick, it almost seems like a no-brainer for them to pick the best cornerback of the class.

The only issue with getting Delane would be the LSU Tiger making it through the gauntlet of teams like the Saints and Chiefs, who might also want to pick the possible future star.
