Video: President Trump Booed Loudly At Game 3 Tonight

U.S. President Donald J. Trump is in the building for Game 3 of the 2026 NBA Finals on Monday evening.

The President of the United States, 79, is sitting in a suite as a guest of Knicks owner James Dolan on Monday night. President Trump, who grew up in New York, is a Knicks fan. The Knicks are leading the Spurs, 2-0, heading into Game 3 on Monday night.

Many wondered if ABC/ESPN would show President Trump during the game. The network showed President Trump saluting the flag during the "Star Spangled Banner" on Monday evening. The crowd of more than 20,000 fans mostly booed as President Trump was shown on Monday night, according to reports from inside of the arena.

The boos were not as loud on the broadcast, though they were still somewhat audible, as well.

President Trump has been impressed by the Knicks so far

President Trump watched from afar as the Knicks won the first two games of the series in San Antonio.

"I watched the end of the game – they were dominant," Trump said. "Wemby's a great player. He's going to be a great player and he is already a great player. I said, ‘How do you guard this guy? He's 7-foot-5 and has a great shot.' But they found a way to do it. They're a great team."

The Knicks will look to take a big 3-0 series lead on Monday evening, but the Spurs will be doing what they can to make this a competitive series. Victor Wembanyama and Co. will look to have a huge game on the road as they look to notch their first win in the series.

Game 3 is getting close to tipping off on ABC. It should be a great one live from New York City.
