Alex Morgan Rocked Patriotic Outfit For U.S vs. Belgium Monday Night

Two-time World Cup champion Alex Morgan was in Seattle on Monday night to cheer on the United States men's national team in the Round of 16.

The USMNT's dreams of winning the 2026 World Cup were squashed by Belgium, as Charles De Ketelaere scored twice in the first half to give his country an early advantage. The match was all but over once U.S. goalkeeper Matt Freese made a critical error in the 57th minute.

"We were not the same team that during the tournament showed the quality," USMNT manager Mauricio Pochettino told reporters. "Very bad day. Wasn't our day in a collective and individual way. And we need to accept that sometimes this type of thing happens.

Although the USMNT didn't get the result they hoped for, Morgan earned plenty of praise from her fans.

Morgan, who scored 123 goals for the USWNT during her illustrious career, wore a red, white and navy blue jacket that grabbed everyone's attention.

"Having the most fun," Morgan wrote for her Instagram caption.

Looking ahead to the 2027 World Cup.

Luckily for American soccer fans, the FIFA Women's World Cup will take place in Brazil next summer. While the days of Morgan suiting up for the USWNT are over, the trio of Trinity Rodman, Mallory Swanson and Sophia Wilson should be lethal.

Suffice to say, the U.S. women's national team has the firepower to make everyone proud next June when the 2027 Women's World Cup begins.
