Metro-east college sports report: How local D-1 football players performed Saturday
TERRY BECKNER (Missouri DT, East St. Louis): Made three tackles including one tackle for a loss in 21-13 loss to The University of Kentucky.
CRAIG JAMES (Minnesota DB, O’Fallon): Three punt returns for -27 yards, in 27-24 win over Ohio.
BRIAN HILL (Wyoming RB, Belleville West): 15 carries for 55 yards and one reception for -4 yards in 38-28 loss to New Mexico.
Austin Barnes (Eastern Michigan P, O'Fallon): Three punts, 45.0 yards-per-punt avg.,two inside the 20 in 58-36 loss to Army.
MICHAEL FORD (Southeast Missouri State DB, Marquette): Recorded three tackles in the 26-21 loss to Shorter.
LAMONTIEZ IVY (Jackson State QB, East St. Louis): Completed 22-27 passes for 370 yards and two interceptions to go along with seven carries for 23 yards. Ivy threw for three touchdown passes as well in the 34-30 win against Texas Southern.
DANIEL WILLIAMS (Jackson State WR, East St. Louis): Caught six passes for 124 yards and a touchdown in the 34-30 win against Texas Southern.
DARIUS JACKSON (Eastern Michigan RB, Sparta): Ran the ball 16 times for 142 yards including two touchdowns. Jackson also caught two passes for 14 yards in 58-36 loss to Army.
Nolan Dowling (Western Kentucky OL, Belleville East): Completed 11 of 11 long snaps and had one tackle in a 56-14 win over Miami of Ohio.
