Yesterday’s answer: The Chicago Cubs have played in the World Series 10 times. Franklin Roosevelt died in 1945, the last time the Cubs were in the World Series. Their world series appearances: 1906, 1907, 1908, 1910, 1918, 1929, 1932, 1935, 1938 and 1945 with their two wins coming in 1907 and 1908.
