ESTL offensive lineman Tre’Vour Simms changes mind; commits to Missouri

East St. Louis offensive lineman Tre’Vour Simms has had a change of heart. The 6-foot-5 290-pound two-time all-Southwestern Conference selection has announced he will attend the University of Missouri beginning in the ‘16 season.

Ranked as the 45th best offensive linemen in the nation for the Class of 2016 and 14th best player in the state by 247Sports prior to the ‘15 season, Simms originally committed to Illinois this summer.

Simms is the 16th player to commit to Missouri. Also in the Tigers Class of ‘16 are former East St. Louis players Greg Taylor and Natereace Strong who are arriving through the junior college route.

Defensive lineman Terry Beckner was a member of the All-Southeastern Conference freshman team while Dominic Nelson is a preferred walk-on.
