Yesterday’s answer: In Super Bowl XLVIII (2014) the Seattle Seahawks scored on the first play of the game when the opening snap flew over Peyton Manning’s head and was recovered by Knowshon Moreno for a safety. The play took 12 seconds eclipsing the previous record of 14 seconds when Devin Hester scored for the Chicago Bears on the opening kickoff in Super Bowl XLI in 2007.
