Yesterday’s answer: Jackie Stewart was known as the Flying Scot. Jackie Stewart, born in 1939, raced in Formula 1 for eight years, beginning in 1965, winning three World Drivers’ Championships. He also worked for a time as a race commentator for the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) network. Sir Jackie Stewart was knighted in 2001.
