MEN’S BASKETBALL
▪ Roosevelt Jones (O’Fallon, Butler): Scored four points with eight rebounds and six assists in the opening round 71-61 win over Texas Tech. He also scored points with five rebounds and two assists in the 77-69 loss to Virginia.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
▪ Katie Hempen ( Highland, Arizona State): Scored 20 points with two rebounds and two assists in the 74-52 opening round win over New Mexico State.
