How often has Nicklaus won at Augusta?
Today’s question: Still the greatest player of all time, “The Golden Bear,” also known more commonly as Jack Nicklaus produced some of his greatest memories at the beautiful Augusta National Golf Club, site of the Masters that begins on Thursday. How many times did Nicklaus win the coveted green jacket and in what years did he win?
Yesterday’s question and answer: The Masters begins on Thursday in Augusta, Ga. and so in the next few days, the first major championship of the 2016 season will take center stage. When he won the 2015 Masters tournament, Jordan Spieth finished 18-under par. Whose course record, set in 1997, did he equal? The answer is Tiger Woods. At the age of 21, Spieth became the second youngest Masters winner after Tiger Woods. In 2014 Spieth had been the youngest runner-up in Masters history. Woods’ 1997 18-under par score may have been equalled, but his winning margin of 12 strokes remained unequalled in 2015.
