FIRST STUDENT CLASSIC The 19th Annual First Student Classic Golf Tournament will be held Friday, June 10 at The Orchards Golf Club to benefit the Belleville School District 118 Education Foundation. Shotgun start for the four-person scramble is at 8 a.m. The $80 entry fee includes green fees, cart, driving range, lunch, skins game, soda and prizes. MILLSTADT FIRE DEPARTMENT The Millstadt Fire Department is holding a four-man scramble June 18 at Triple Lakes Golf Course. Play begins at 7:30 a.m. The cost is $65 per player or $260 team for those who register before June 12; $70 per player and $280 per team on June 12 or after. There will be a maximum of 36 teams. Optional skins game, top scores in each flight, closest to the pin, hole-in-one challenge will be offered. Lunch, dinner, snacks and soft drinks are included in the registration fee. FAST PITCH HALL OF FAME The Belleville Fast Pitch Hall of Fame banquet will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 5420 Old Collinsville Road, Fairview Heights, beginning at 6 p.m. May 18. Inductions include Ron Ames Jr., Ron Steen, Charlie Summers, Jimmy Collins, Mike Rakers and George Huffman, all stalwarts of the Belleville Fast-pitch City League.
