Who played on the Dream Team?
Today’s question: It was without question the greatest basketball team of all-time. Who were the 12 members of the 1992 United States Olympic Basketball team — otherwise known as the Dream Team.
Yesterday’s answer: Enos Slaughter. Slaughter was a member of two World Series Championship teams (1942 and 1946). He batted .300 in eight of his 12 seasons as a Cardinal. He is probably best known for ignoring the third base coach’s stop sign in Game 7 of the 1946 World Series, and, with a “Mad Dash,” scoring the series-deciding run.
