Former Lynx coach goes to Kansas Wesleyan

Kansas Wesleyan University has hired Chris Sandefur as the Cross Country and Track and Field Coach at KWU.

Sandefur comes to Kansas Wesleyan from Lindenwood University-Belleville where he had served as the Director of the Cross Country and Track and Field programs.

This past season, Sandefur helped three Lynx runners qualify for the NAIA National Championships. In track, the Lynx won the 2016 American Midwest Conference Men’s Outdoor Outdoor Track and Field Championship and qualified several individuals for the NAIA National Championships.

He was twice named the AMC Coach of the Year in Men’s Outdoor Track.
