Saint Louis U’s Jordan Goodwin is first teamer in A-10 and coaches association vote

Saint Louis University junior guard and Althoff graduate Jordan Goodwin was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District 4 first team, as selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC in NCAA Division I.

A first-team All-Conference and All-Defensive team selection by the Atlantic 10, Goodwin led SLU with 15.5 points per game. He also was one of the top rebounding guards in the country, averaging 10.4 per game , which ranked in the top 25 nationally. Goodwin also ranked 24th in the country in steals with 64.

A former three-time first team all-state selection who led Althoff to the Class 3A state title in 2016, Goodwin led the Atlantic 10 with 15 double-doubles, and he scored in double figures in all but three games this season.

Goodwin was named A-10 Player of the Week Jan. 13 after big games in wins against George Washington (20 points) and Richmond (26 points). Additionally, he earned Most Outstanding Player honor of the Gotham Classic Showcase Game win against Boston College (20 points and 14 rebounds).
