Lynx soccer players are honored

With the conclusion of their historic national semifinal run, the Lindenwood University-Belleville Lynx soccer team had two players named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Mideast Region team, while Oriol Morego was named to the NAIA National Tournament All-Tournament team. In addition, senior, Joe Kapp was awarded with a Champions of Character scholarship.

Voted on by the coaches, the NSCAA All-Mideast Region team was announced and Guillermo Chinchilla and Leonardo Ferri were both recognized as second-team members.

The Lynx ended the season with a 17-8 record.
