EDWARDSVILLE Southern Illinois University Edwardsville head coach Derrick Brown has announced that Jordan Harre has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the men’s golf team.

The Nashville, Illinois, native joins SIUE after spending two seasons at Rend Lake Community College.

“Jordan will add some great talent to our roster for next year,” Brown said. “He has worked very hard and had a good career at Rend Lake where he picked up valuable experience, including two tournament wins.”

Harre was a two-time medalist at the Rend Lake Spring Invite. As a freshman he shot rounds of 68-72 and as a sophomore won the event with rounds of 67-74. He qualified for the national tournament as a sophomore as an individual and earned honorable mention All-American honors.

At Nashville High School, he was a two-time regional champion. He fired a 66 to earn the regional win as a senior. He won the Southern Illinois River-to-River Conference title as a junior.

“I’m excited to see what the next two years will bring for Jordan at SIUE,” Brown added.
