National signing period sends local athletes to the college ranks

The National Letter of Intent college signing period ended Wednesday.
Several metro-east high school athletes put their verbal commitments in ink starting last Wednesday, notably Belleville West senior EJ Liddell, who will play NCAA Division-I basketball at Ohio State University. He and many others are listed below.
If an athlete at your school or in your family signed an NLI in the last week, and are not on this list, please send the athletes name, high school, sport and the college to teschman@bnd.com.
