Four metro-east teams post victories at Edwardsville Scott Credit Union Shootout
Basketball season remains in full swing for metro-east teams.
Here is a quick look at some of the big games in the area from Saturday on the boys circuit.
Belleville East vs. Rock Bridge (MO)
On Saturday, the Lancers beat the Bruins 65-61 at the Edwardsville Scott Credit Union Shootout to improve to 7-0..
Jordan Pickett led Belleville East in scoring with 19 points and Antwine Wilson was second with 17 points.
Look ahead: Belleville East visits Mater Dei at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13.
Collinsville vs. Ladue (MO)
The Kahoks improved to 6-2 with their 72-58 win against the Rams at the Edwardsville Scott Credit Union Shootout.
Jake Wilkinson led Collinsville with 23 points and 8 assists while Zach Chambers added 14 points and Jamorie Wysinger had 13 points.
Look ahead: Collinsville will host Granite City at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec 13.
Edwardsville vs. MICDS (MO)
The Tigers won a close one against the Rams, 55-50, at the Edwardsville Scott Credit Union Shootout to improve to 3-4.
Look ahead: Edwardsville will visit Cahokia at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec 13.
O’Fallon vs. Carterville
The Panthers improved to 6-2 and as they beat the Lions 52-46 at the Edwardsville Scott Credit Union Shootout.
Look ahead: O’Fallon will host Mascoutah at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13.
Althoff vs. SIUE Charter
On Saturday, the Crusaders improved to 5-4 with their 83-38 win against SIUE Charter at home.
Jordan Lewis led Althoff with 21 points while Alex Johnson chipped in 16 points.
Look ahead: Althoff will host Carbondale at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16.
Mascoutah vs Ridgewood
The Indians beat the Rebels 59-35 to improve to 8-1 as extend their winning streak to seven games.
Miles Ntekop led Mascoutah with 14 points and Michael Fox was second with 12 points.
Look ahead: Mascoutah visits O’Fallon at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13.
