The metro-east boys basketball season continued with a some close games Saturday night.

Here is a quick recap of the outcomes.

East St. Louis 74, Jefferson City 61

The Flyers stayed undefeated in non-conference play with 13-point win against the Jays.

Macaleab Rich led East St. Louis with 21 points and Antwan Robinson added 19 points.

Look ahead: East St. Louis (8-1) plays Hamiliton Heights at Caldwell County (Ky.) at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22.

Castle, Indiana 66, Collinsville 39

The Kahoks lost by 25 points against the Knights of Castle, Indiana.

Jamorie Wysinger led Collinsville with 16 points.

Look ahead: Collinsville (7-4) visits Mater Dei at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21.

Taylor Ridge Rockridge 59, Columbia 53

The Eagles led by two points heading into the fourth quarter but could not close out the victory against the Rockets.

The Bulldogs blww past the Titans with 11-point win.

Waterloo 45, St. Vincent 44

On Saturday evening, the Bulldogs won a close contest against the Indians.

Waterloo was led by Alex Stell with 18 points and Wyatt Fink with 14 points.

Mater Dei 56, Monticello 35 (at Greenville)
