The metro-east boys and girls basketball seasons continued with Tuesday and Wednesday night.

BOYS

Collinsville 68, Mater Dei 60 (WEDNESDAY)

The Kahoks posted an eight-point road victory to head into Christmas on a high note.

Jamorie Wysinger led Collinsville with 19 points, while Jake Wilkinson added 17 points and Adam Rimar posted 13 points. The Kahoks outscored the Knights 21-7 in the third quarter to turn a four-point halftime deficit into a 10-point margin heading into the final eight minutes.

The Knights dropped to 4-4.

The Eagles downed the Shells by 14 points.

Sam Donald had 16 points, while Dylan Murphy and Jack Steckler posted 15 points apiece for Columbia, which improved to 9-2 overall and 3-0 in the Mississippi Division of the Cahokia Conference. Roxana dropped to 5-7, 0-4.

Wesclin 59, Gibault 55 (WEDNESDAY)

The Warriors posted a tight four-point home victory against the Hawks.

Wesclin improved to 5-10 while Gibault fell to 9-2.
