The metro-east boys and girls basketball seasons continued with several key games Tuesday.

Here is a quick view of some of the outcomes.

BOYS

Belleville West 57, Mascoutah 52

The Maroons got past the Indians with a five-point victory.

Daylen Byrd led Belleville West with 17 points. Quincy Hall Jr. led the Indians with 19 points. Belleville West improved to 12-12 while Mascoutah fell to 18-7.

Look ahead: Belleville West hosts Springfield Southeast at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4. Mascoutah visits Jerseyville at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3.

Granite City 56, Waterloo 46

The Warriors downed the Bulldogs in a 10-point victory.

Granite City improved to 13-11 overall while Waterloo fell to 6-19.

Look ahead: Granite City visits Alton at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3. Waterloo visits Civic Memorial at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3.

Triad 60, SIUE Charter 25

The Knights dominated SIUE Charter in a 35-point victory.

McGrady Noyes led Triad with 16 points. Triad improved to 20-6 overall while SIUE Charter fell to 3-12.

Columbia 73, Civic Memorial 49

The Eagles cruised past CM by 24 points for their 16-straight victory.

Jack Steckler led Columbia with 24 points, while Brody Landgraf added 20 points. Columbia improved to 24-2 overall while Civic Memorial fell to 11-14.

Mater Dei 46, Centralia 44

The Knights got a tight win over the Orphans.

Mater Dei improved to 12-12 overall while Centralia fell to 16-5.

Collinsville 59, Lift for Life 55

The Kahoks beat the Hawks by five points.

Jamorie Wysinger led Collinsville with 25 points. Collinsville improved to 17-9 overall while Lift for Life fell to 9-8.

O’Fallon 73, East St. Louis 48

The Panthers coasted to a 25-point victory over the Flyers.

Shannon Dowell led O’Fallon with 30 points. O’Fallon improved to 24-4 overall and 9-1 in the Southwestern Conference, while East St. Louis dropped to 10-18, 1-8.

Alton 80, Granite City 29

The Redbirds downed the Warriors in a 51-point victory.

Alton improved to 25-1 overall while Granite City fell to 5-17.
