The metro-east boys and girls basketball seasons continued with several key games Saturday.

Here is a quick view of some of the outcomes.

BOYS

Belleville East 66, Springfield Lanphier 33

The Lancers dominated the Lions in a 33-point victory at the Bank of O’Fallon Shootout.

Jordan Pickett led Belleville East with 22 points and 7 rebounds while being named the game’s Most Valuable Player. Belleville East improves to 23-4 overall.

Look ahead: Belleville East visits Alton at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7.

O’Fallon 55, Chaminade 50

The Panthers got a tight victory over the Red Devils at the O’Fallon Shootout.

Rini Harris received MVP honors for O’Fallon with 12 points and 8 rebounds. O’Fallon improved to 19-6 overall.

Look ahead: O’Fallon visits Collinsville at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7.

Springfield Southeast 68, Belleville West 57

The Spartans downed the Maroons by nine points.

Belleville West fell to 12-13 overall.

Look ahead: Belleville West hosts East St. Louis at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7.

Tolton 60, East St. Louis 59

The Blazers got past the Flyers with a one-point win.

East St. Louis dropped to 17-6 overall.

Look ahead: East St. Louis visits Belleville West at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7.

Edwardsville 44, Waterloo 28

The Tigers downed the Bulldogs by 16 points.

Edwardsville improved to 17-8 overall while Waterloo fell to 6-21.

Look ahead: Edwardsville visits Mascoutah at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7. Waterloo visits Salem at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7.

Mascoutah 55, Herrin 53

The Indians slipped past the Tigers in a tight match-up.

Miles Ntekop led Macoutah with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Mascoutah improved to 20-7 overall.

Look ahead: Mascoutah hosts Edwardsville at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7.

Miller Career 79, Mater Dei 53

The Phoenix got a decisive 26-point victory over the Knights.

Mater Dei dropped to 13-13 overall while Miller Career improved to 12-7.

Look ahead: Mater Dei hosts MICDS at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7.

GIRLS

Altoff 51, Centralia 22

The Crusaders got a decisive 29-point victory over the Annies.

Althoff improves to 17-8 overall and 6-3 in the South Seven Conference. Centralia fell to 5-18, 2-6.

Look ahead: Althoff hosts Father McGivney at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8.

Mater Dei 61, Miller Career 34

The Knights dominated the Phoenix in a 27-point victory.

Mater Dei improved to 18-7 overall while Miller Career falls to 10-7.

Look ahead: Mater Dei hosts Pinckneyville at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8.

Macoutah 60, Salem 34

The Indians downed the Wildcats in a 26-point victory.

Mascoutah improved to 21-7 overall while Salem dropped to 10-16.

Look ahead: Mascoutah hosts Triad at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9.

Lincoln 61, Collinsville 27

The Railspiltters coasted to a 34-point victory over the Kahoks.

Lincoln improved to 28-0 overall, while Collinsville dropped to 13-15.

Look ahead: Collinsville visits O’Fallon at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7.
