Edwardsville dominates Belleville West in regional semifinal
After completing an undefeated regular season, the 2017 Class 4A state runner-up Edwardsville Tigers began postseason play in dominant fashion Wednesday with a 65-18 win over Belleville West.
Quierra Love led the charge for the Tigers, scoring 15 points.
Edwardsville (26-0) will play for the Class 4A Belleville East Regional championship Friday.

Civic Memorial beat Triad 48-19 on Wednesday to advance to the championship game of its home regional.

Belleville East beat Collinsville 64-48 on Wednesday to advance to its home regional championship.
Belleville East (18-9) will play last year's state runner-up, Edwardsville, for the Class 4A Belleville East Regional championship Friday.
Gordon helps Panthers move past Champaign Centennial
Kayla Gordon led with 16 points as the O'Fallon Panthers breezed past Champaign Centennial 51-31 on Wednesday to advance to the Class 4A Chatham Glenwood Regional championship.
Going into the half, the Panthers led 25-13, and they continued to extend the lead in the third quarter, giving the Chargers no opportunity to close the gap.
O'Fallon (25-4) will play for the regional title Thursday.
