The metro-east softball season continued with several games Wednesday and Thursday.
Here is a quick view of some of the outcomes.
O’Fallon 9, Alton 5
The Panthers coasted to a 4-run win over the Redbirds.
O’Fallon improved to 3-8 overall and 2-2 in the Southwestern Conference. Alton fell to 5-9, 2-4.

Mater Dei 7, Breese Central 0
The Knights downed the Cougars in a 7-run victory.
Mater Dei improved to 13-1. Breese Central fell to 6-8.
Kailyn Kruep led Mater Dei with 2 hits and 4 RBI. Makenna Budde led Breese Central with 2 hits.
Audrey Clark pitched a complete game while allowing just 2 hits.

Highland 6, Triad 5
The Bulldogs got past the Knights in a 1-run win.

The Bulldogs dominated the Warriors in a 10-run victory.
Highland improved to 9-5-1. Granite City fell to 3-14.
