Belleville East Lancers Baseball Alumni Day set for Saturday

Belleville East High School is hosting Lancers Baseball Alumni Day at 11 a.m. Saturday along with a doubleheader against Normal.

All former players, coaches, families and friends are invited to attend the festivities, which include former Belleville East Hall of Fame coach Larry Patton throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.

All former players will be honored on the field in between games and former Lancers right-hander Sam Lance, owner of Steamboat Biscuit and Brisket in New Athens, will be catering the event. There is also a “Where Are They Now” sheet with updates on past players and what they are doing.
