The Warriors were led by Justin Kellogg, who scored 14 points.

Despite the loss, the Bulldogs went home with the tournament trophy, boasting the best tournament record (3-1).

At its home tournament, Jerseyville beat Cahokia 41-35.

Both teams stressed defense with a low-scoring first quarter. Despite being outscored in the fourth quarter, the Panthers came away with the win.

Kurt Hall and Blake Wittman were the top scorers for Jerseyville, with 12 points apiece.

Liljegren has big game for Collinsville

Faith Liljegren scored 19 points in Collinsville’s 67-41 win over Riverview Gardens.

Kristyn Mitchell also helped in the Kahoks victory, scoring 14 points, while Venise Govan led the team on defense with 7 rebounds.
